  A thing of beauty. Keratin Hair Straightening – Mini Style

  This article is incomplete. I have had Keratin Complete ( Coppola) and I have had the Express Keratin by Coppola. There is no odor with Coppola…. Also, try the Express Keratin Complex.. no odor…. takes one hour and one half and it lasts 3 months!!!!
  Love it !!
  Carmen Carmen Salon and Spa in Cotswold Village has both the regular and the Express.
  My wavy curly hair is now straight, shiny and so easy to care for.
  Prevana is the Keratin treatment that I didn’t like…. I don’t like that one at all.
  That does have formaldehyde.

    We try to allow most comments, but we do have to comment in reply on this one. I too have had both treatments; there was a definitely an odor and a chemical wafting that bothered my eyes a bit. The Express treatment did not last a day over 10 weeks for me, but that was better than predicted and better than for some. ALL treatments with Keratin in the copyrighted name have some percentage of formaldehyde or formaldehyde derivative. The potential issues are reported to be the same with either form, it is the amount that drives the relative safety in use.
