Last week I told you I’d check it out.  It’s worth a visit, if you like Dolce & Gabbana or their lower priced D&G line.  Lots of merch & a broad range of options in pants, dresses, blouses, suits, cocktail-wear.  Mostly not for conservative tastes (but you knew that) and 70% off a $2,300 jacket is still almost $700 (but…black/grey wool herringbone with just the perfect touch of leather piping. Yum.).  Still, I saw several pieces I would try on that will be sale priced under $200.  So if Dolce is your bag, head to the Sharon Corners shopping center right between Baoding and Moe’s.  It’s not too crowded and the folks are friendly.  Read more here.  The photo’s don’t really do it justice, I’ll try to snap some myself tomorrow.

Belk stores will host their fall charity sale Sat., 11/7.  In return for a $5 donation, you’ll get a ticket for admittance to the Private Charity store sale from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.   Your ticket gets you discounts of 15-50% throughout the store.   You will also receive $5 off your first purchase of $5 or more (getting back the price of admission).   And Belk cardholders will receive double rewards points.
Belk will distribute the funds raised to local charities, schools and nonprofits throughout the company’s 16-state market area.  Their previous charity sale, held May 2, raised more than $5 million for hundreds of nonprofits.  Tickets to the sale may be purchased at Belk stores and participating charities (but you’ll have to ask your local store mgr who the charities are, so just buy your ticket while you’re there).
