Black & Blue closing on 9/14.

Bummer.  Black & Blue, the denim and clothing shop in Morrison, will be closing for good on Wednesday, 9/14.  I’ve posted the super-sweet letter below from owner Cheryl Little to her customers.  When she gave us the heads up about this, Cheryl asked that we make sure you all know that prices will be up to 90% off from now to closing next week.  Our very best to Cheryl and her soon-to-be bigger family, and to Christy Ward.

Dear loyal customers,

Black & Blue was a dream of mine that became a reality in March 2008.  I have learned so much over the past 3 ½ years and I would not trade my experience for the world.  However, the time has come to say goodbye to Black & Blue.   I no longer have the ability to give Black & Blue the time and effort it requires, and with lingering economic uncertainty, continuing my business is not the best decision at this time.  I now look forward to an exciting future, taking time to focus on my professional career and more importantly, the upcoming arrival of our baby boy!

I would like to thank all of my employees for their hard work and loyalty.  A very special thanks to Christy Ward, the manager of Black & Blue.  She has been a very dedicated employee since day one.  I value all she has done for me and the store and wish her the absolute very best!  Most of all I would like to thank my husband, Sam, for your love and never ending support.

Black & Blue will officially close on Wednesday, 9/14.  All customer balances and gift cards will be honored through this date.  The entire store will be marked down up to 90% off, and we would love your continued support in our final days of this location.

FALL FAVORITES this week.

Sick of summer yet? Different stores are in different stages of the transition to fall.  Here are some of our favorite shots from the shops this week.

CORAL on East Blvd is receiving fall daily (and their summer sale at 75% off ends this Saturday) and these two  ”transition” looks struck our fancy.  The colors are right, the fabric weight is ideal for our warm Septembers and the accessories will work for the next 6 months.
