February

On Friday, 2/3 and Saturday, 2/4, the Boulevard at South End is hosting a big Rue Cler trunk show with loads of hard-to-find high end children’s designer wear.  And they’re having a Mommy & Me tea party Saturday, with Rue Cler and Ambrosia Boutiques plus sweet treats from southerncakequeen and the new Savory Spice Shop.  Here’s their event invite on Facebook.

On Saturday, Feb 4th, stores in Cornelius and around the Lake Norman area are hosting a Boutique BlowOut  Sale. Avalilly, Bebe Gallini, Haute Momma Maternity, Lavendar and many more will collectively join forces for a mega sale, where blowout and clearance prices will rule.  More deets to follow, but check out their flyer here and mark your calendar now.

Also on Saturday, Feb 4th, Frock Shop will celebrate the Grand Opening of their new storefront Style Lounge inside MoNA (Museum of Neighborhood Art) at 1200 Central Avenue in Plaza Midwood.  The much loved traveling trunk show will still occasionally wander about the QC showcasing their adorable vintage fashion & designer finds.   Frock Shop’s Style Lounge will be a permanent spot to get first dibs on their latest arrivals and newly up-cycled outfits & accessories from in-house label REVIVAL.  Plus, there’s art, chocolate, wine and a rooftop deck for spring.  Here’s their flyer.

The Superbowl Sunday Escape to East Blvd sale event will be from 1-5pm on Sunday, February 5.  Since we’re sponsoring this fab shopping event, you’ll be hearing plenty more about it.

More traveling trunk shows to go to, this time on Saturday, 2/11 in the atrium behind Amelie’s you’ll find the Urban Gypsy show.  Deets here.

And of course, one of our favorite events of the month, the Sweet Tooth Festival will take place on Sunday afternoon, 2/19.  Loads of local businesses with loads of sweet treats, all in the wonderment that is the Black Lion on Park Road.  Yum.
