The Sweet Tooth Festival

January 11, 2012

Beware my pretties.  Something wicked this way comes.  Wicked sweet, delectable, and delicious that is.    A celebration of tasty treats is heading our way, just in time to save us from all the dieting and exercise the New Year brings.

The Sweet Tooth Festival will be held the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 19th at the BlackLion on Park Rd and is Charlotte’s first drop-in celebration of all things confectionery, featuring the finest regional purveyors of cupcakes, candies, cookies and sweet treats.

The event will showcase the QC’s top bakeries, chocolatiers, pastry artisans and home-based businesses (including beverages) in a festive, sample-happy environment.

Tickets are $25 per person and include generous samples from Sweet Tooth vendors, as well as swag bags packed with your Sweet Tooth Tasting Passport, to-go containers (for when you want to keep tasting, but want to avoid a sugar coma) and goodies from event sponsors. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit The Joe Martin ALS Foundation, which provides homecare aides and nurses to create independence and possibility for people living with ALS.

Get your tickets TODAY.  And if you are a real Sweetie, like you sell sweets for a living, register as a Sweet Tooth Festival Vendor.  Can’t wait to sweet you there!
