Right on trend in the QC, it’s the newest way to head out for an evening of fun, friends, wine and creativity.  Wine & Design just opened on East Blvd in The Shops at Twin Oaks (that’s the center with Sloan & Step), bringing paint parties to the girls in the hood.
What’s a paint party?  Art class with Adult beverages, that’s what.  Starting most evenings at 6:30, Wine & Design hosts a 2 hour painting get-together, where they provide all the supplies you’ll need to create your own work of art.  Including cups and a corkscrew for the most important inspiration of all, your B.O.B. bottle.

At Wine & Design, all you have to do is sign up, show up, sip up.  Your canvas, paints, apron and paintbrushes will be waiting as a local artist helps you create that night’s featured painting.   You can get an idea of this month’s featured paintings on the calendar on their website here.

Each evening costs about $35 per person, which covers all painting supplies and direction from the artist on staff.   You can reserve with friends or go by yourself to meet some new ones.  If you’d like to party a bit during the evening, you can bring a bottle of wine (or beer or whatever).  Cups & corkscrews will be on hand.
