Poole Shop is hosting a fun trunk show from Lemlem, 6/9- 6/12.  Perfect for summer, pool and the beach, it’s an assortment of apparel, scarves, & beach bags brought to us from Ethiopia by supermodel / actress Liya Kebede.  After Liya, who is the WHO’s Goodwill Ambassador for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health,  discovered that traditional weavers in Ethiopia were losing their jobs due to a decline in local demand, she started Lemlem in 2007 as a way to inspire economic independence in her native country and to preserve the art of weaving.
