I’ve been testing the NeuLash.

photo credit Neulash (no this is not my eye unfortunately)The lovely ladies at Neiman Marcus gave me a tube of Neulash to try, and despite fears of sprouting cheek hair or turning my blue eyes brown, I have been testing it for almost two months.  Neulash is the more benign version of Latisse - not as many chemicals and risks.  And therefore, at least for me, a much slower lash response. Better safe than sorry ya know.

My Neulash results are subtle, but there has been growth and darkening.   I saw no result for the first 4-5 weeks and had just about given up.   Then, during my morning ritual of staring through mag glasses in the mirror looking for new imperfections to bemoan, I noticed longer, darker, maybe even thicker lashes.  Later that week, my esthetician asked if I’d been using one of the lash enhancers, as my eyelashes looked more full and dark.  Eureka, validation by a professional!

Since then, I’ve been happily applying the Neulash every other day, since I am trying to extend the life of my free sample for as long as possible.  At $150 for a 3+ month tube, it’s an indulgence.  I mean, that’s a lot of pedicures.  But as we age, most of us suffer thinning brows and lashes and this product has made a noticeable difference for me.  Not a change-your-life, spectacular difference, I mean it’s not like my husband is all “turn around bright eyes” or anything.   But, I do see it and I will try to keep it up.   And the growth is almost scary on some of the younger women I’ve seen who’ve used it .

NeuLash Active Eyelash Technology contains bioengineered peptides, hyaluronic acid, biotin, panthenol, licorice extract and other ingredients to promote lash growth. neuLash says it will show results in 30 days by promoting moisture and elasticity in the lashes. It can also be used on the brows.  The formula, according to the manufacturer, has passed safety testing in the U.S. and the European Union. (The EU has stricter standards for cosmetics than the U.S.) A three-month supply costs about $150 at your friendly neighborhood SouthPark Neimans.

FYI,  Here’s a blog review of the most well-known of the Eyelash Enhancers.
